What is Aranovus ?

Aranovus is a new company with a revolutionary system to renovate asbestos cement roofs and cladding'.The system does away with costly removal of asbestos and disposal of large quantaties of special waste.

Safe, environmentally friendly and very cost effective.

Several hundred million square metres of unsightly asbestos cement roofs are still in place throughout the UK: Options for dealing with such roofs are limited by financial, environmental and Health & Safety implications.

The Aranovus solution can strengthen and preserve the roof, preventing further decay. Without having to close the premises during renovation.

Aranovus - The only system of its kind in the UK. Patent Approved.

The Aranovus process utilises high-pressure water jet cleaning of the roof. This is followed by the application of a specially formulated penetrating primer, giving a substrate penetration of 50 (microns). Finally, an elastomeric waterbourne coating, specifically developed for Aranovusby Mathys, the world leader in waterbourne technologies, is applied at 2kg per square metre. The end product gives a robust, fully encapsulated surface and may be finished in a selection of colours.

The safe system of work developed ensures that operatives are not required to access the fragile roof. All access to the roof is via Mobile Elevated Work Platforms and system scafolds. The design of the enclosed high-pressure water system ensures that there is no significant release of asbestos fibres or of water spray to the air and a high performance water filtration system collects and filters water run-off, allowing safe disposal of the 'decontaminated' water
